Security Cameras Are Flying Now

We all know about those security cameras of Amazons Ring brand spamming social media with idiots in cars driving by, cute animals at the porch or kids being kids.

I’m joking…

This devices can be useful too.

Anyway: Now this camera flies. The drone is called, unspectacular, Ring Always Home Cam. You can buy it next year.

Amazon introduced many new products yesterday, new Fire-TV-Sticks, updates for its Echo speaker and, of course, new Ring security cameras. Most exciting was the drone, which stand in an inconspicuous box on a shelf, then ejecting itself autonomously to look around. Only when flying the camera can see — like if the balcony window is still open or if the coffee machine is still going.

You have to define the routes in advance. With this Amazon wants to make sure ,that the devise does not appear in the bath or bedroom. ’Cause no one wants that.

Here a promotional video of the device in action:

The Always Home Cam works with other ring devices as well. As usual, you can watch the video material on your smartphone via the Ring app.

The drone with the box in which it automatically recharges should arrive at the market in 2021 and cost $249.99. Advantage: A larger area can be covered with a single device. This could make security cameras in every room — whoever has them — unnecessary.
